From the Mission Ops station, the Mission Ops tech can monitor telemetry from primary Away Teams. During a crisis, this station also assists the Security Officer by providing information on Away Teams and secondary mission operations as related to security concerns.
The Engineering systems monitor is mainly for those times when the Chief Engineer is needed on the bridge. It provides the same information as is provided by the primary status displays in Main Engineering.
